Detailed description

Our exceptionally strong and heavy-duty steel strapping is perfect for securing heavy consignments with sharp or rough edges. Designed to conform to awkward shapes and palletised loads, it ensures stability for irregular consignments. Widely used in the building and construction industries, it’s ideal for transporting bricks, concrete, and bundling pipes. The edges of the strapping are sheared and dressed for added safety, while safety cutters prevent the steel strapping from springing back when cut. Painted black for enhanced durability and rust resistance, this steel strapping is also made from recyclable materials, supporting sustainable practices.

Even at lower widths, our strapping offers impressive breaking strains—485 kg at 12.7 mm, 610 kg at 16 mm, and 725 kg at 19 mm. It works with various steel strapping tools and seals, including sealless tools. Oscillation or mill wound coils contain more strapping than ribbon wound coils, making them efficient for heavy-duty and industrial applications. The coil size is 406 mm internal diameter and 600 mm external diameter. Choose our steel strapping for a reliable, safe, and sustainable solution for all your heavy-duty and industrial needs.

Steel strapping on ribbon wound coils are also available.

Steel strapping seals and tools available: Snap on metal seals (refs: 401UK, 501UK and 601UK) for use with separate tensioners and sealers (refs: FP, DNS13, DNS16 and DNS19).

Sealless tools (refs: QST13, QST16, QST19 and OHT13, OHT16 and OHT19) are easy to use and do not require separate metal seals.
